About Us

Thrills in the Ville is a group of passionate members of the Sydney FGC. Due to the thriving nature of competition in Sydney we want to cater to those who love fighting games but may not be keen on the idea of waiting around to be called up to bracket. We are a casuals only event. There is no tournament, just good vibes, learning and playing the games we love. Make sure to bring your own controller and converters as needed. Majority of setups are PC and PS5. Please feel free to bring a setup for whatever you are keen to play!

What to expect

If it is your first time coming to a FGC event you may feel a little initmadated.
Let us walk you though what to expect so you can make the most of your time!


  • One of our awesome organisers will welcome you in and check your registration, if in doubt ask someone for "Cheff"

  • Find a game you are interested in or have some experience playing

  • introduce yourself to the players and ask if they would be willing to teach you or would like to play

  • enjoy!
